Curtis Joseph Signed by Calgary

January 14th, 2008 | Posted by Wicked in Calgary Flames

Curtis Joseph has made his decision and he will play the rest of the season for the Calgary Flames. The decision came down to the Flames and Rangers, and Joseph and his family decided the best place to be is in Calgary with the Flames as he signed a 1 year, $1.5 million contract.

The news is being reported by TSN and the deal is finalized. Joseph played last year with the Phoenix Coyotes and was an unrestricted free agent this summer but no one signed him. The Flames now have a very capable backup to Mikka Kiprusoff as they make their playoff run.
