Forsberg Returns to Ice, Will Try Playing with Swedish National Team

He is hoping to play for the Swedish National Team February 7-10 at the LG Hockey Games in Stockholm. If all goes well with the Swedish National Team, Forsberg said he wants to return to the NHL, but will only play for a team that is guaranteed to make the playoffs.
Peter Forsberg has always had a history of injuries, mainly because of the physical type of player that he is. The latest injury required ankle surgery, although the doctor feels that his ankle will hold up if he does make a comeback. There are many teams rumored to be interested in Forsberg, the Canucks, Flyers, Avalanche, Flames and many more teams. Wherever he goes he will perform well when he is healthy, but that is a big if.
