Former NHL’er Sentenced to 4 Years in Jail in DUI
January 17th, 2008 | Posted by Wicked in NHLFormer NHL player Rob Ramage has been sentenced to 4 years in Canadian jail for the death of Keith Magnusson in a drunk driving accident. Ramage and Magnusson were in a car that crashed on the way back from a funeral for another NHL player when their car crashed.
Ramage was sentenced to 4 years by the Canadian judge to set an example to drunk drivers. Magnusson’s family has forgiven Ramage for the accident and asked that no jail time be given to Ramage. Rob Ramage is appealing the decision.
