Richard Zednik Takes Skate to the Neck, Is in Stable Condition
Richard Zednik is in stable condition after taking his teammate, Olli Jokinen’s skate to the neck during a game against Buffalo today. Zednik was bleeding very heavily, but was able to skate to the bench where he was immediately taken to the hospital.
There was a 15 minute delay in the game to clean up all the blood, but more importantly, Zednik seems to be okay. All thoughts and prayers are with Richard Zednik and his family and best wishes on a speedy recovery.
