Lundqvist Agrees to 6 Year $40 Million Deal with Rangers
February 13th, 2008 | Posted by Wicked in New York RangersAccording to tsn.ca, a deal has been made between goalie Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers. Lundqvist reportedly agreed to a contract for 6 years at $6.5 million a year.
Lundqvist’s contract has been a priority for Ranger’s management, and now that he will be signed long-term, the Rangers can start worrying about the rest of the positions on the team. The official announcement is expected by Thursday.
