The Los Angeles Kings are set in last place in the NHL and are expected to be the big sellers at the hockey trade deadline this year. The Kings have made their first move trading Jaroslav Modry to the Philadelphia Flyers for a 3rd round draft pick.
Modry has been one of the more consistent defensemen for the Kings this year, putting up 1 goal and 5 assists, but he was only a -2 on a roster with some players at close to -20.
Modry will be be an un-restricted free agent at the end of the year.
