Cliff Fletcher Asks Mats Sundin where he Wants to be Traded

February 22nd, 2008 | Posted by Wicked in Toronto Maple Leafs

Cliff Fletcher approached Mats Sundin today and asked the Maple Leafs captain which teams he would be willing to be traded to.  Fletcher apparently didn’t specifically ask Mats Sundin to waive his no trade-clause, but apparently Sundin knows his day of reckoning his approaching and that he will be traded from Toronto.

There are many teams interested in trading for Mats Sundin.  Leading the list in Sundin hockey rumors are the Detroit Red Wings, Anaheim Ducks and Vancouver Canucks.  Apparently Sundin would like to stay in Canada if possible, but he may be willing to be traded to which ever team has the best chance of winning the Stanley Cup.
