Joe Sakic Activated from IR, will Play Tonight vs. Oilers

Joe Sakic was activated off Injured Reserve today by the Colorado Avalanche and will play tonight against the Edmonton Oilers.  Joe Sakic has only played in 24 games this season and as amassed 22 points.

Joe Sakic is returning against the Oilers tonight for his first game since he had surgery for a hernia before the New Year.  Joe Sakic will take some time to get back into game shape, but the Avalanche badly need their captain to help make a push to make the playoffs.
