Dan Boyle Signs 6 year $40 million Deal with Lightning
February 25th, 2008 | Posted by Wicked in Tampa Bay LightningDan Boyle signed a contract extension with the Tampa Bay Lightning today for 6 years and $40 million, equal to $6.66 million a year for the next 6 years.
“As John Tortorella has consistently said, Danny is the player that makes our offense go from the back end, and this signing demonstrates the commitment of current and prospective ownership to ice a championship caliber team in Tampa.”
Dan Boyle has already won one Stanley Cup with the Lightning, and is averaging a point per game so far this year.
