Montreal Canadians Win 2-1, now in 1st Place in Eastern Conference
March 1st, 2008 | Posted by Wicked in Montreal CanadiansThe Montreal Canadians beat the New Jersey Devils tonight 2-1 to take over 1st place in the Eastern Conference. Carey Price made 31 saves tonight as the Canadians took over 1st place from the Ottawa Senators. It is Carey Price’s 3rd straight win for the Habs.
Andrei Kostitsyn scored late in the 3rd period to give the Canadians the go-ahead goal. Mark Streit also scored for the Habs and Brian Gionta scored for the Devils.
