Mats Sundin had a goal and 2 assists and Bryan McCabe had 2 assists in the victory. Victor Kozlov scored and Alexander Ovechkin added his league-leading 49th goal of the season.
Kolzig started tonight for the Capitals who just traded for Cristobal Huet. Huet recorded a shutout for the Capitals in his 1st start.
The Toronto Maple Leafs continue to inch closer to the playoffs and are now only 5 points out of the last playoff spot. The Capitals are tied with the Maple Leafs with 68 points this season.
