Patrick Roy Suspended 5 Games, Jonathan Roy Suspended 7 Games for Fight

March 26th, 2008 | Posted by Wicked in Canada Juniors

Patrick Roy and his son Jonathan Roy were both suspended by the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for their roles in a line brawl against the Chicoutimi Sagueneens.  Patrick Roy directed his son, Jonathan Roy to go fight the Chicoutimi goaltender Bobby Nadeau.  Nadeau didn’t fight back against Roy and took a pretty good beating.  As Jonathan Roy was skating away he flipped off the crowd.  Then he got into another fight with a Defenseman on the Sagueneens.  Patrick Roy is the coach of the Quebec Remparts and his son Jonathan Roy is the goaltender for the Remparts.  Click the link to watch the video of Patrick Roy sending his son Jonathan Roy to fight the Chicoutimi goaltender.
