Daniel Alfredsson may Return to Game 3 for Senators
April 14th, 2008 | Posted by Wicked in CanadaDaniel Alfredsson may return from injuries to play in the Ottawa Senator’s third game in the first round of the NHL playoffs. Aflredsson was hurt in the 2nd to last game of the season when he was nailed in an open ice hit by Mark Bell. Alfredsson has been out with an injured knee and a head injury.
Coach Bryan Murray said that Alfredsson is probable for the Senators 3rd game in the opening round of the playoffs. Murray has said that if Alfredsson says he can play then Alfredsson will be in the lineup. Here is a quote from the Senators coach: “He indicated this morning that he was feeling considerably better,” said Murray. “After he skated for a bit I asked him and he said he was good to go.”
