Stars Beat the Sharks 2-1 in 4 OTs to End Series
The San Jose Sharks and Dallas Stars play an epic game tonight as the game went blow for blow through 4 overtimes. Then Morrow for the Stars scores the incredibly clutch tip in goal to close out the series and advance to the Western Conference to meet the Red Wings.
The Dallas Stars got on board first with a goal by Antti Miettinan on a wrist shot by Nabokov. The game was tied in the early third by Ryan Clowe, who has been very clutch in the 2008 NHL Playoffs. The game remained tied through a barrage of shots and scoring chances up to the 4th ot when Morrow scored for the Stars.
The win gives San Jose their first loss over the last 3 games and has ended the series tonight.
The Dallas Stars will meet the Detroit Red Wings in the Western Conference Finals.
